E_FYGA by the Station Athens group at the 1st Synikismos Festival in Eleusis, we invite you to a very special family dinner. Khalil will serve the food—and not his mother, as is customary in Afghanistan. A traditional meal, accompanied by the personal stories of our protagonists. 8 years of research work with refugees and immigrants confront us with the impact of art, and particularly theater, in their lives. How did they make the decision to get involved and remain faithful to the process of creating a team—perhaps an exception—whose participants have been together for so many years? What are the advantages of this connection in the long run? How can we create the conditions for such a “re-start”?
