Fourteen young artists, students of the IX workshop of the School of Fine Arts, present the collective art exhibition the “Mystery Theta”, the result of long years of research and conversation with the Elefsinians, collectors, people who transfer the collective memory from one generation to another. In the cultural space Leonidas Kanellopoulos, full of memories and symbolisms, the exhibition attempts a multi-level reading of the historical and contemporary aspects of Elefsina, from antiquities to the industrial heritage and society, seeking new interpretations in the cultural landscape of the city. The works open a window to the past and at the same time engage in a conversation with the lost expectations and the changes of today, incorporating the perspective of the new artistic generation. The exhibition is supported by the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports.
